Grades will never be listed on an assignment or emailed to you. To find your numeric grade, please log into Blackboard to see your gradebook there.

Grading Scale:
A (94-100) A- (90-93)
B+ (87-89) B (84-86) B- (80-83)
C+ (77-79) C (74-76) C- (70-73)
D+ (67-69) D (64-66) D- (60-63)
F (below 63)

Point values:

• There are a possible 100 points available in the course.
• Attendance will be taken at each class session. Please let one of the instructors know in advance if you will be unable to attend a class session. Attendance and class participation are worth 15% of your grade.
• You will be doing individual assignments that will be incorporated into a larger final group project. You will be using Google Docs for these assignments. Full participation in group work is expected, including the final presentation.
  • Individual assignments (Google Docs). This is worth 35% of your grade.
  • Group work (during assignments 1 and 2) is worth 5 % of your final grade.
  • Group project (Google Docs). This is worth 15% of your grade.
  • Group presentation. This is worth 10% of your grade.
  • Group member and Instructors’ evaluation of your group work. This is worth 5% of your grade.
• We will be using this blog for continuing discussion. You will be expected to comment on a new discussion once per week. Your blog posts are worth 5% of your grade.
• There will be 10 quizzes throughout the semester. We will give these at the beginning of class, so you must come on time to take them. The quizzes are worth 10% of your grade.
• Late assignments will lose one point each DAY an assignment is late starting with class time on the day the assignment is due. Two points will be deducted for each DAY the final project is incomplete. After one week, no points will be given on the final project.
