On April 12, 2007, the ZSR Library honored Maya Angelou for her gift of the papers from her films. These manuscripts, photos, personal notes, playbills, etc. are a huge and valuable collection that will assist researchers in the future.On April 12, 2007, the ZSR Library honored Maya Angelou for her gift of the papers from her films: Down in the Delta; Sister, Sister; On A Southern Journey; The Blacks; and Georgia, Georgia. These manuscripts, photos, personal notes, playbills, etc. are a huge and valuable collection that will assist researchers in the future.
