Good Morning!!! The day to depart for Arkansas is finally here. I had only a few hours of sleep last night, so I am anticipating the long ride (yay… for nap). However I didn’t log on to this blog to talk about me, but to thank everyone for the sacrifice that they are making to become a public servant for the week. I am aware that many of you could have been doing other things with your time and energy, but inspired by your generosity to give back. One of my favorite quotes of all time is by Robert Kennedy, he said that “many people look at the world and ask themselves why, and I dream of things that have never been and ask…why not.” By going to Arkansas, you have proven that you have hope for a community in which statistics say that they have no chance of going to college. On Monday, you all will challenge the system, and ask like Kennedy, “why not”. I look forward to seeing you soon!!!

    Peace and Blessings,
    Trayonna
